RE: My Kriya Yoga Journey

As you can see I'm not to good a keeping a journal...lol
The first part in learning Kriya Meditation is to learn to control your mind, now that is easier said than done.
It is a mission and a half for me to close my eyes and not think of anything but the divine but i have been told that practice makes perfect.

At the moment i can only Meditate between 15 to 40 min, sometimes i find it easy to sit still and quiet my mind for 40 min, sometimes i find myself fighting with my thoughts from the start.

My favourite time to meditate is at night just before bed but sometimes that is not possible depending on when and how big my dinner was. You sleep so well after meditating before bed.
Another good time to meditate is when you first wake up in the morning, this i find difficult because im not a morning person and its even more sop if you had meditated the previous night.

So I'm battling a bit but with a little practice I'm sure things will be just fine.
Till next time
Bye

My Kriya Yoga Journey

I have recently started a Kriya Yoga course and so i thought i would create a little Journal to document it.
Kriya Meditation has had a profound effects on people and their spiritual growth and im hoping that this journal will encourage others to give it a try.

The Kriya Yoga technique is a sacred knowledge passed on to those who are sincere about spiritual growth and so I will not be teaching anything in this journal but rather sharing my experiences.
My course starts on Monday 29 September and continues every
Monday for 9 weeks.

If you are interested in Kriya Yoga, give AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI a read.

In this book he explains all about Kriya Yoga and how it facilitates spiritual growth.
