The question is what didn't we give up....okay let me think....
* Swimming at school galas even though I was pretty good * Play a witch in the junior school play - again I was good * Gave up curly hair - it was far too curly to be considered spiritual
there were a heeeeeelll of a lot of other things. We'd be here all day
LOL I gave up a promising career as a musician because it was "bad" to be in a band. I played in a band for a couple of years after I stopped going to the Kingdumb Hell, but by then I had to worry too much about work and family to take it as seriously as I would have when I was younger.

The dubs who were studying with me said, "Would Jehovah want you to watch a show about witches? YOU decide..." Yeah, right.
I also gave up my favorite all time cereal- Lucky Charms!
They told me I couldn't wear the Christopher medal my 5th grade 'boyfriend' gave me when we went steady coz it was Catholic.
And when I learned a campfire song about Noah and the Ark, they said, "well, ask yourself- is it based on what the Bible says?" Then I said, "but you guys sing The Unicorn Song by the Irish Rovers all the time"... One of my few zingers, at 10 years old.
